3DAYSOFDESIGN COPENHAGEN 2025

We returned to 3daysofdesign this year, June 18-20, with a new joint exhibition with our friends Garde Hvalsøe entitled Deltag | Encounters. The event saw the launch of new products by Manuel Aires Mateus and Neri&Hu, and a talk by the acclaimed architects.

Set within the Garde Hvalsøe showroom, Deltag | Encounters merges De La Espada furniture with Garde Hvalsøe's signature kitchens and handcrafted interiors; a tribute to togetherness, aesthetics, and tactile beauty. Curated by stylist Pernille Vest, the exhibition evokes the warmth of boutique hotels, the vibrancy of cafés, and the refined elegance of modern restaurants.

Deltag | Encounters remains open until August 8, 2025.

NEW PRODUCTS

The exhibition includes product launches Chair One by Manuel Aires Mateus, and October Dining Armchair by Neri&Hu.

ARCHITECTURE MEETS PRODUCT

Neri&Hu and Manuel Aires Mateus translate their architectural principles into furniture expertly crafted by De La Espada.

Deltag | Encounters, the first public exhibition of Manuel Aires Mateus' collection for De La Espada, includes Bed One, Table One, and the new Chair One. The chair reflects Manuel's approach to architecture: honest materiality, bold yet timeless, innovative yet connected to the past, and an interplay of volume and void.

Classic Neri&Hu designs for De La Espada, including the Capo, Trio, and Frame collections, are presented alongside the new October Chair. The October chair materialises the duality of the month of October — the melancholy of endings and the promise of renewal — with a strong and enduring solid wood structure that speaks to permanence, and supple leather upholstery signifying transience.
