De La Espada offers select products upholstered in a Manta Lido textile.

Manta Lido is a manta alentejana, a traditional blanket from the Alentejo region of Portugal with a heritage reaching back over a century. It is woven by hand at the Fabricaal workshop in Reguengos de Monsaraz from merino wool.

Lido is an iconic pattern from the Fabricaal portfolio with stripes of varying widths. It is available in a range of colourways developed with De La Espada.

TWENTY-FIVE BERGÈRE CHAIR WITH MANTA LIDO

Designed by De La Espada Atelier

Twenty-Five Bergère Chair is a high-back chair that reflects diverse influences including vernacular chairs such as Orkney chairs, and the work of Axel Einar Hjorth, Rudolph Schindler and Finn Juhl. The timber back nods to barrel making, its curved form made from several components carved and joined. The wide armrests are carefully sculpted to invite the hands to explore. Pairs well with Twenty-Five Ottoman for even deeper relaxation.

This special edition of the chair, upholstered in Manta Lido, has the pattern thoughtfully defined to achieve the most aesthetically pleasing composition.

Twenty-Five Lounge Armchair celebrates wood craft with a sculptural solid wood form with detailing including rounded corners and exposed end-grain on the back corners. A relative of Twenty-Five Sofa, the chair shares an inviting tactility and a deep comfort provided by expertly upholstered cushions.

Taut upholstery on the chair shell creates a refined profile while the exceptional comfort Elysia offers is visually communicated through thick, evenly creased upholstery on the cushions.

Sela Lounge Chair reflects a passion for woodworking, with a tactile timber form with beautiful joinery. An exquisite leather seat, custom made by a Portuguese saddler, is suspended from the chair frame, then softened with upholstered cushions. Sela boasts an ageless appearance with a contemporary edge; the perfect blend of natural elements, craftsmanship, and timeless appeal. It is available with a choice of wide arms or narrow arms.
