Luxury retailer, Harvey Nichols opened a new design concept store in Birmingham in the summer of 2015. Designed in collaboration with the retail design specialist Virgile + Partners, the Birmingham store was created as the blueprint for all future Harvey Nichols stores, with a focus on a curated selection of product in an innovative and evolutionary environment. Set across 45,000 square feet, the store is organised as an ‘all in one floor’ retail layout combining women’s and men’s fashion, beauty and hospitality on the ground level and a mezzanine for the beauty treatment rooms. Offering the ultimate experience in food, wine and hospitality, the store is a destination in which to spend and enjoy time after shopping or in the evening with friends.
The highly sophisticated and stylish restaurant includes a tapas bar, a private space for parties and a foodmarket. It also integrates a special wine area that combines wine retailing and a wine tasting bar, which includes Solo Breakfast Bar Stool designed by Neri&Hu and manufactured by De La Espada.
